On 18 July 2022, the concert of Duo Ueda Offermans is held at Modern Art Museum of the Abbey of Fontevraud, in the Loire Valley, France on the occasion of the Claude Monet exhibition. More info: www.fontevraud.fr

On the 3 November 2021, Duo Ueda Offermans performs at Rietberg Museum in Zurich on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Japanese medieval narrations depicted in the arts’, with subtitling by musicologist Mr. Heinz-Dieter Reese. The program included:

• Atsumori, Japanese traditional biwa music, solo
• Dan-no-Ura, Japanese traditional biwa music, arranged for biwa, voice and flute
• Yoshitsune, Japanese traditional biwa music, solo
• Murasaki-no-Ue, from Tale of Genji, composed by Junko Ueda for biwa, voice and flute.

The program includes: Tsuru-no-Sugomori; Shunkan; Heike Duo and Ingen's Dream (with shomyo Buddhist chanting of Obaku-shu monks). Ingen's Dream is their special composition, dedicated for Ingen's (Chinese founder of Obaku-shu Buddhist sect) arrival in Japan 360 years anniversary.

On August 7th the Duo Ueda Offermans (Junko Ueda: biwa and voice; Wil Offermans: flutes) performs a duo concert for the Academie Internationale d'Ete de Nice at the Conservatoire de Musique, Nice. Two videos are now available on YouTube of the performance of Duo Ueda Offermans at Màntica Festival in Cesena, Italy, recorded on 26th October 2013 in the Teatro Comandini. One is from "Inner Voices" (voice and Thumpy flute) and another is from their classics "How to Survive in Paradise II" (voice and flutes / live-electronics).

On August 24th the Duo Ueda Offermans present a their acoustic duo concert at Chapelle Notre Dame de Riquer, Catllar near Prades (France). The event is part of the 8ème Festival Les Troubadours Chantent l'Art Roman en Languedoc-Roussillon. The duo - by Junko Ueda and Wil Offermans on flutes - performes a program of their works as well as some traditional Japanese pieces, including Heike Monogatari, Genji Monogatari and Tsuru-no-Sugomori. The origin of the Chapelle Notre Dame de Riquer dates back more than 1000 years.
